Flatline 9.4.18 9.4.18 Q: Spicoli PAX: Lite Brite (WD), Van Gogh (WB), Roosevelt, Spicoli YHC felt mugged by the humidity first thing when walking to my car. The stillness of the air was sure to make for extra special workout conditions. Roosevelt helped YHC with keeping time and with a few brave souls we began:…
The PAX: Thistle, Zima, Shingles, Root Canal, Mutton, Roosevelt, Palin, Stopyra, TPS, Litterbox, Hedwig 11 PAX gathered to suffer a Hedwig-style beatdown this AM. At 0530, YHC gave Shingles the choice of which workout he wanted. He choose workout #3 (out of 3 options). So, the workout commenced something like this: 1st Street Hill…
Date: 08/14/18 Q: Spamalot Pax: Van Gogh, Birdhole (F3 Charlotte) (WD), Cheesesteak, Roosevelt, Cherry Pie, Huckleberry, Tubbs, Turnover (WB), Spamalot While YHC cannot speak for the rest of the Pax, the whole idea of Flatline is fairly intimidating. YHC remembers many many months ago, when it was launched thinking “no way I am ever…
QIC: Bluto Date: 8/7/18 Jeff Covington (couldn’t make out nickname – from F3 Charlotte), Mutton, TPS, Rust Bucket, Swipe, Root Canal, Thistle, Cheesesteak, Zima, Bluto We got rolling at 5:30 am sharp. The PAX got to #picktheirpoison and do SSH, Running with Scissors and/or Mtn Climbers for their “rest move”. There was no standing around….
Extra air for Q at Flatline 07/31/18 Q: BAM Pax: Thistle (WD), Root Canal, Cheesesteak, Lawn Boy, Palin (WB), BAM (QIC) 2 weeks ago the Q was on vacation, so might not have worked out as often as usual. Last week Q was on a work trip from Sunday night until the following Saturday night,…
YHC was met this morning by probably the shortest Pax member in W-S. 3′ tall #Titanium who was bursting with energy and excited to be up that early with his dad and the rest of the pax. It kind of made my day in the first five minutes. Good to see a couple of faces…
Flatline 7/17/18 PAX: Toetag, TPS, Root Canal, Thistle, Zima, Van Gogh, Flyby, Cheesesteak, Palin Q: Palin YHC was noodling on what to bring to the PAX at Flatline while preparing for an upcoming vacation. My mind wandered to how much I enjoy down range workouts as they allow me to meet new people and learn…
We’ll get to the details of the workout, but I don’t want to burry the lede here. As we ran, did sit-ups and push-ups and generally did voluntarily difficult movements with our bodies we encountered a few things this morning. No less than 5 people sleeping in Winston Square Park. Lots to notice, but I…
What: Flatline When: June 19, 2018 Where: First Presbyterian Parking Lot Who: Hedwig (shockingly WB), Thistle (WD, of course), Mutton, Roosevelt, Pita, TPS, Cherry Tree, Shingles, Root Canal, Zima (QIC) 05:19:37 Pita arrives. Phew. The streak of Site Qs bailing on Zima-led beatdowns is broken. Maybe Pita never got the memo. 05:20:13 Pita emerges from his…
Men and @Ramses – The pax have spoken, and YHC listens (sometimes)… We have a new F3WS Gear Pre-Order open as of right now (actually as of a week ago, but I forgot to tell the pax)! This is includes the same offerings as the last order (in October 2017) – including gear for both…
OK, stole a workout from Mongoose, who stole it from Cobra. Bad idea – should have realized that from the lineage alone. However, #Flatline happened with a great group and hard effort. It was a relatively cool with somewhat lower humidity, so I employed Q wisdom and went into a parking deck to minimize the…
The Pax: Root Canal, Thistle (WD), Pita, Schnitzel, Litter Box (WB), Balco, Beverly (QIC) —————- It was with much pleasure and gusto that YHC returned to Flatline with keys in hand, ready to offer up a non-stop, high-tempo beatdown the likes of which 6 unsuspecting early-risers hadn’t seen since last week. The cooler temps in…
