No COT Needed.

3.10 miles around WFU in the wind and rain and also more wind. The snow came a few hours later. Third time I’ve used this route, so now it’s tradition.

The workout was brief, under 45 minutes.

The numbers were low, 3 of us with a 4th out on his own.

The weather? About that. High wind warning. Debris everywhere. Puddles. Cold. Light but….I think the word is insistent…. rain.

Among the best workouts I’ve been to.

Safe to say, none of us probably WANTED to be there. Also safe to say we were all there, mostly, because of “the guy next to you”.  We were there in case someone else showed up.  And they did.

When we learned Cheerio was out on campus…somewhere…we hung around the parking lot doing side straddle hops and Walkers until he showed up to check-in.  A campus police officer stopped to tell him he was crazy.

All accounted for. No count, no name-o-rama,  Quick fist bumps and a few words. No Circle Of Trust. Which, if you have been paying attention, is one of the Core Principles. Does that mean it was not an official F3 workout? Nantan ruling: it does not mean that. It was official. The “T” was there, maybe the “CO” was not.

This is why we do this.

  1. Aye, great BB and description. Glad I didn’t miss. Thanks for slowing down for me, Wobegon and JB. Made the rest of the day seem easy.
