Another late backblast from YHC but better than nothing at all. We gathered on one of the last preschool mornings at Parliament. YHC’s creative juices have been focused in other areas lately so some old favorites were adapted for WeFoCos only core beatdown. YHC cranked up the Spotify Dad Rock and we were off with…
Burlap and YHC switched up a few weeks ago to help each other out. About to take my oldest daughter to start college, and having returned Mon AM not much time to plan. Resurrected Scrabble set for a (Mostly) new crowd. Did this for first time around Oct 2021, TRQ Scrabble! The PAX rolled in…
Has been a while since YHC has posted at VI. After arriving early to lay out the cones in the parking lot for the main event the WeFoCo stalwarts arrived to get our week started off strong. WARM UPS Some slow stretches, upward and downward dogs, before continuing to the track. Moseyed around the track…
Time to visit the bicameral pleasures of Parliament. One day I’ll learn why this was named as such. We had people pulling into the lot right up until the last moment. One Pax who will remain nameless, had a neat thing going: no lights on the road, flip them on when it’s time to park…
YHC arrived for a EC run to see Zima already heading out on one of his own #tclaps. I came back from my solo jaunt and the parking lot was still empty, but the cars started streaming in and we had a quorum, so we got after it. The runners took off and the rest…
Froman and YHC arrived right at time so we quickly got started with the 6th Core principle before moving on: WARM UP Stretches (touching toes, up and down dogs) Whirleys, Arm Swirly Things, Seal Claps BLIMP to the Blocks (Burpees x 5, Lunges x 10, Imperial Walkers x 15, Merkins x 20, Plank Jacks x…
It was a lovely morning at the home of Root Canal’s middle school. Yes, it’s an elementary school now, but when you show up early and Root Canal can’t sleep so he shows up early, you learn all kinds of fun things! We even viewed the spot where his mom forgot to pick him up…
YHC wanted to showcase a couple new exercise the PAX would “enjoy”. Descriptions of these new toys are below. Credit: Tim Anderson with Original Strength – Single Leg Elevator Squat – bear crawl position. Elevate one leg off the ground behind you. Perform a squat with leg still in contact with the ground. Repeat for called…
Waiting to see if we would have typical Parliament numbers but with Ziggy out the carpool van didn’t show so 6 settled in for a humid warmarama: Warm-a-rama: SSH x 20 Abe Vigoda x 6 Pretzel Stretch 5 seconds each side x 2 Hillbillies x 20 Arm Swirleys front/back x 16 each Overhead clap x…
