Run & Gun
Despite posting a pre-blast to F2Winstonsalem and giving the wrong street name, 5 non directionally challenged Pax joined YHC for a morning 5k through Buena Vista. We launched from Whitaker Elementary making a right on Dartmouth, left on Forest, Right on Arbor, left on Warwick – turning into Runnymeade. Left on Hawthorne, merging onto Virginia. Left on Buena Vista back to Dartmouth. Sounds complicated but it was really pretty easy to follow. The last .9 miles up hill on BV was tough. Van Pelt made it back to home base, but a tight achilles tendon kept him from Tabata. Hope you are recovering well VP.
3 rounds of Tabata. Merkins/Squats and Freddie Mercury/Penguin Crunch, Mountain climbers/Juanitas
YHC took us out praying for those in El Paso and Dayton and for all of us to be leaders in thought word and deed.
Easy route; hard run. Humid and second half was uphill. Thx to JB for sticking with me in the first half.
