The Grinch is the GOAT. He remains undefeated. None of the BSDs dethroned him this year. But there were a few valiant efforts and so onward we go. Although it was a little early for a holiday-themed beatdown, the PAX rolled with it while the Q grabbed his years old cardboard and dusted off his…
Freezing cold morning at The Iron Throne. I got the call from Tammy to Q and you know the Duck has a hard time turning down that opportunity especially since I was the former site Q. I had put up a magnesium lock to secure the coupons and so that it would not freeze. Coming…
Warm-O-Rama Mission Statement / 5 Core Principles Normal time wasters The Thang This being the 54th anniversary of the D B Cooper plane hijacking, let’s look to the Exicon for anything that fits. Oh look, there is one called The Cooper, that’ll do. Mosey to the blocks, take it to the basketball court. Start with…
Today is YHC’s 19th wedding anniversary. So the beatdown was designed to emulate how hard and rewarding 19 years of marriage (with the right person) can be. There are good and bad seasons, unexpected hardship, LOTS of repetition, and at times you might not think you can go on… but enduring it all will only…
With this being my VQ, I didn’t know what to expect. I didn’t know who would show up. I didn’t know if my workout would bring us to 45 minutes. Lots of unknowns. I am a planner, so I had this workout planned for a week or so and had a vision for how I…
It was a cold, clear morning at the Launchpad. YHC was going to be there “right on time” so a preliminary text to the site Q was in order before leaving the house. Upon arrival, Burns and Transcript were in the parking lot, ready for action. I remarked that the sky was clear and star-filled,…
the apb went out thursday and the afternoon before this 3rd annual operation christmas child truck loading event at river oaks community church. The PAX arrived to the AO right on time. this year we had a couple more than our first year, a bunch of HIMs, several with truck loading experience. Ziffel arrived with…
This was not planned, unlike those weeks when Zima likes to take as many as is alienly possible. YHC was incredulous when Frostbite texted on Sunday, “You have a double-down Q on Tuesday.” SMH. A quick look at the Google calendar confirmed the Nantan’s words. What in the world?! Who’s in charge here? Redline…
YHC has a special place in my heart for #Conspiracy. Such a great AO and one I was a SiteQ for a year. This AO also happens to be regularly attended by some whom remain nameless, are prone to run their mouths for the duration of the beatdown. Supposedly, it is a sign of being…
A fine cold morning saw 6 pax posting to one of the most uninspired and uninspiring preblasts yhc has ever created. had devised a plan to get down to ballpark, get around it and back. mission and core principles were recited. we warmed up even though flatline doesn’t usually do that, b/c yhc needs to…
TIT wasn’t the only AO scrambling this morning! I awoke to a text from the scheduled Q that he didn’t sleep at all and had a rough weekend – noted. Get your rest, good sir. We’ll get it done. I also got a text from Rubber Ducky exaggerating the amount of time it would take…
Forgetting that the original Monday F3 Winston-Salem workout is now skewing much younger, YHC planned this workout around the college radio station from his high school days, WVUM FM 90.5 aka The Voice of the University of Miami, complete with a stocked playlist of alternative tunes from 1985. 40 years ago. 8 pax posted, but…
