YHC had the honor of leading the absolute beasts that are the regulars of #WesternFront today. If I’m being honest, I was a little worried about putting something together that would adequately challenge the studs that usually show up out there. Reading through the backblasts chronicling the atrocities that have happened at this AO was…
Had the keys to The Distillery today and used the same beatdown that I put together a few weeks ago for Alcatraz. With all the running lately, I thought it was a good switch up to build some strength. Blocks were moved, reps were repped and we even rolled around some puddles. The thang: I…
5 HIMs showed up to WIB this morning expecting maybe a nice little Thursday tune-up. Instead…they got trapped inside a rotating vortex of burpees, lunges, made-up core exercises, and pull-up misery with random runs sprinkled in because apparently YHC was either naive or ignorant to one tiny detail while planning: 👉 Running. No worries.@van.gogh made…
YHC volunteered for the first beatdown of the 2nd (I believe) annual MayHIM month at Mayhem. Rollback’s challenge was to honor High Impact Men and also make the workouts push us a little harder. Narrowing down who to honor was challenging and fitting a workout to honor these men tugged on my heart. YHC arrived…
YHC took up the call to Q the premiere evening workout that happens on a Tuesday aka #HighLife What better way to celebrate Cinco De Mayo than working out – I mean margaritas and tacos are fun, but sweating and running around a park is much more my speed. Here is what we did: Warmarama:…
11 Pax enjoyed near perfect weather for a Seis de Mayo celebration of baseball’s best team – Los Bravos! The music was latin-themed (though as was pointed out often, not entirely Mexican – of course, Seis de Mayo is a celebration for all!) Started with the Warm-o-rama of SSH, Imperial Walkers, Arm Twirly Things, and…
Welp. YHC first forgot to start his watch before we launched into the Motivators during Warm-O-Rama and didn’t realize it until our second stop in the other First Pres parking lot. But YHC was at least able to keep that flaw hidden from the other 7 pax that showed up. All else was executed flawlessly. …
Following an innocuous preblast promising upper body and core focus, four other pax joined YHC to start their week off on the Iron Throne. Chattering began as soon as Boomerang and Palin arrived asking where the music was. Boomerang was still chapped that Burns didn’t bring music to TRQ last Thursday. The pax were promised…
As is widely known, YHC has a tendency to focus more on the accompanying playlist than the actual content of the beatdown. Today, we tried to focus on both the music and the physical activity and oriented both towards a focus on prison life since we were out at Alcatraz. Knowing what was coming in…
Gentlemen… Last summer, 38 men stepped into the arena.Only one walked out with the gold. Rollback didn’t just win… he claimed the belt. And now? He’s not giving it back without a fight. Tour de Draftee 2026 begins next month. Same rules.Same belt.Same mission: Show up Put in the work Get to know a brother…
Mayday ! Mayday ! Mayday ! That’s right….it was that time again. Well, technically it was that time for the first time. When Ducky reached out to see if I could take a Q spot at the newest, most badazz AO in all Dash-PAX-Landia, I was super stoked. And the available day was May 1st!…
Howdy Folks, today we did a thing. First, I forgot my phone, and I forgot music. Boomerang saved us with his phone, but no speaker. We warmed up: SSH, Imperial Walker, Hill Billy, Abe Vigoda, Whirly. Then we meandered to the flag area and did 7 Layers of Drip. 20 Derkins, Merkins, Irkins, 15 LL…
