8 PAX pulled a changeup and moved the Cornerstone workout to 9:30 to avoid the 100 degree afternoon heat – we are smarter than we look! Some nice morning shade made the workout somewhat bearable, though the mumble chatter increased as the temps increased and the shade waned! Warm O-rama: SSH, Whirly with the clap,…

11 Pax enjoyed near perfect weather for a Seis de Mayo celebration of baseball’s best team – Los Bravos! The music was latin-themed (though as was pointed out often, not entirely Mexican – of course, Seis de Mayo is a celebration for all!) Started with the Warm-o-rama of SSH, Imperial Walkers, Arm Twirly Things, and…
17 PAX braved the 90 degree heat at Samaritan’s Ministries and Project Cornerstone (we really need to name this AO!) for some fun in the sun (and thankfully some shade). After a traditional warm-o-rama, the Thang consisted of 9 stations. At each station, complete 5 reps, then run the loop, then complete 10 reps, run…
Prayer to Baseball gods to get the Braves back on track! Warm-O-Rama: SSH, Whirly w/ the clap, Imperial Walkers, Arm Circle things front and back The Thang: Pax completed each inning, doing 20 reps of each exercise, then ran the bases around our very oddly shaped diamond (ok, it looked like a rubber band!). Each…
An even dozen gathered in the muggy gloom for a little Bells and Whistles fun. YHC decided to introduce a new area for our B&W workouts, trying out the grassy area beside the clubhouse (sorry Toe Tag’s family next door) so that we could have some good steps and short walls – ideal for step…
20 strong gathered in the gloom at B&W for a beatdown that was sufficient. With YHC’s looming 55th birthday this weekend, many things were done in batches of 5. Here is what went down: Warm-O-Rama – SSH, Imperial Walker, Arm Twirly Things front and back, Whirly with the Clap Warm up Run – Two lines formed…
14 PAX gathered in the gloom on a morning with hints of fall in the air for some Nasty 100 at Bells and Whistles. Mild panic from YHC when he realized first thing this morning that his phone had not properly been on the charger – fortunately the battery lasted the duration – much to…
YHC was called in off the bench to pinch hit at B&W – inspired by a tight World Series (dadgum Braves should be there though); 8 hearty PAX completed 9 strong innings (and extra innings for Lace) of baseball. Here is how it went: Warm-O-Rama: Standard: SSH, Whirly w/ the Clap, Imperial Walkers, Little Arm…
