All the Who’s Down in Whoville

PAX: Bevo, Lamb Chop, Spicoli, Zima, Frost Bite(WB), Dr. Toot(WD,Q)

Twas a misty, cool morn as I arrived two minutes late, when my wandering eyes did spy a PAX that was not going to settle as they moseyed the parking area. After apologies for the Spicoli-style arrival, we moseyed directly to the illuminated Christmas tree at Corpening Plaza. Sure set me in the mood for a four corner good time beatdown around that festive tree. We trans ported from corner to corner with bear crawls, crawl bears, walking lunges, and reverse walking lunges. We did escalating and de-escalating exercises  that toted to 80 burpees, 120 merkin, 120 WW IIs, and 8o squats. That took up most of our time, but we did manage to go to the parking deck to stay dry for 20 burpees, 10 pull-ups, and 15 Lt. Dan’s.

So many PAX having so many babies…way to go $5 Footlong and Schlitz. Prayers for the babies to come and the babies that are just a twinkle in our Father’s eye. COT was a reminder that we become resilient as we persevere and remain positive as we are in the desert places because the rain does come there too and when it does, the desert blooms and nourishes all those that are there.

Bevo, thanks for the keys, they ar win the reflecting pool.

Is there such thing as beating down a beatdown?  If so, that is what Cherry Pie witnessed this morning.   No other way to describe it.  6 bold pax manhandled what the Q thought was a man-sized,  respectable, Flatline worthy, 45 minutes of pain.   Back to the drawing board! The morning went something like this….. Lap…

  1. Great workout. Merkins became precipitously difficult as we ascended the ladder.

Thank you for the moving words at COT and your leadership!
