Bourbon Chase Training – Wednesday Edition (BBBC Remix)

As the summer wears on, a certain event in the rolling hills of Kentucky continues to get closer.  October will be here before we know it.  Team OH4TB continues to train and train and train.  So proud of these group of men.  Today 3 members of said team were joined by 4 other Pax for what was supposed to SourMash’s push to 4 miles.

 

The plan was for the month of July, for SM to run 3 miles at a time, and then up it to 4 when August rolled around.  Well, today was August 1.  Jumping from 3 to 4 miles is a rather large percentage jump, so YHC designed a 3.8ish route.   Nice and flat.  See for yourself:

Well, late last night a certain someone….bailed on account of family scheduling issues.  Uhhhuh.  His brother was not very forgiving.

 

Nevertheless, 7 pax ran the route on a cooler, yet still humid morning.  YHC had the pleasure of running with Sassy, who continues his year of running.  To recap…he already ran a half-marathon, already ran a 210 mile team relay race, is going to run Bourbon Chase, and oh yeah….he is running a marathon this year.  Stud.
