This morning I was feeling extra grateful, extra blessed, and just happy to be able to get up and move before the sun even rises. On the way to Hanes Park I was listening to the F3 Worship Playlist that @Head Hunter came up with and just got my mind right for today. Song I…
Seven HIMs. Pouring rain. Cold from start to finish. No excuses. The Thang With rain pouring from the opening disclaimer until TIME, the PAX took on a HIIT-style accumulating beatdown. Every round added one new exercise while finishing with an increasingly longer shuttle run. YHC made one modification before the workout began. The original plan…
Come join me at Old Town Park (4550 Shattalon Dr) for WIB. Maybe you can pick up your new WIB headband from Zephyr. Maybe you can get a decent workout in with some pals. Maybe you’ll think to yourself, “Hey, this is a pretty good spot for a WIB, I’d do this again.” Maybe you…

YHC dug in the archives for inspiration and found this gem created by Van Gogh from 2020: https://new.f3winstonsalem.com/2020/02/a-runrangerrun-edition-of-wib/ With a few tweaks and a few pax, we’d be off and running. Four others obliged YHC this morning at River Oaks Community Church. Warmarama: SSHs, Abe Vigodas, Whirlies, Asian Squats, Cherry Pies The Thang: Beginning at…
WIB will be at River Oaks Community Church. We’ll start out at the pull-up bars on the backside of the church, and then run a .6 mile loop around the parking lot. Along the way, pax will perform: Pull-ups + toes to bar x 5 @ pull-up bars. Dive Bombers x 5 @ NW corner…
Everyone should know by now that YHC loves tradition, and “The Craftsman” slowly became a WIB tradition for YHC to Q at the old Sears parking lot at Hanes Mall. Over time, the parking lot slowly went down hill; with parked tractor trailers, lots of garbage, no lighting, rough asphalt, and construction fencing. So…
5 HIMs showed up to WIB this morning expecting maybe a nice little Thursday tune-up. Instead…they got trapped inside a rotating vortex of burpees, lunges, made-up core exercises, and pull-up misery with random runs sprinkled in because apparently YHC was either naive or ignorant to one tiny detail while planning: 👉 Running. No worries.@van.gogh made…
It’s a late 90s tune by the short lived Dischord Reocrds band Bluetip. But it could have been our rally cry today. 4 pax made it to Hanes Park for this week’s WIB. A solid workout format that YHC does not attend nearly enough! It went like this: Normal WOR and a slow mosey to…
Zephyr and I have talked multiple times about doing a WIB in Arbor Run and welp, today was the day. The hills of Arbor Run did not disappoint and it was a group of Arbor Run residents who know the neighborhood and still were up for the challenge. The thang: The goal of today was…
