Put on hiatus in 2020 due to Covid.
Pax: Walter White, Beverly, Mongoose, Interference, Winklevoss, Bueller?, The Vig 7 speedy dudes showed up for a little track work this AM. The plan was to RIRO from Reynolda Village Parking Lot. Our route from Reynolda Village Parking lot to Kentner Stadium Track can be found here: https://goo.gl/svMzWz Our Plan of Attack: 1 mile warm up…
I know, I know. You’ve all been waiting for it: the return of Speed Trap to the Dash. Well, sleep easy because it’s back. 5 Pax jumped out of the fartsack (presumably because they had to pee really badly), and posted at Whitaker Elementary for a 4.5 mile fartlek training session. We crushed it so…
Week 7 of the #Breaking plan speed workout will take us back to Kentner Track on Wake’s Campus . Plan to RIRO from Reynolda Village Parking Lot. Our route from Reynolda Village Parking lot to Kentner Stadium Track can be found here: https://goo.gl/svMzWz Our Plan of Attack: 1 mile warm up 4x 800m Repeat w/ 400m…
Week 6 of the #Breaking plan has our speed day back to mile repeats. YHC has decided to keep our scenery fresh and use Kentner Track on Wake’s Campus for our AO. MMR has the track just a little over a mile from Reynolda Village Parking Lot if we RIRO. Our route can be found…
Speed Trap returned today, but not with the traditional format. We (read: YHC) decided to do some mileage with increasing speed each half mile. @Ramses suggested a different format and then didn’t post due to the rain (he will melt, you know). We would have ignored his suggestion anyway, as SpeedTrap is not a democracy….
Men and @Mongoose – We have a new F3WS Gear Pre-Order open as of right now! Not only is it a new order, but also includes a new, limited edition logo! Check it out! For those who have never ordered, or those who don’t remember “the deal”… The order will be open through Saturday, 10/21….
Our Veterans. Perhaps no group of individuals is more deserving of our recognition and gratitude. Many PAX are themselves proud Veterans. Indeed, a significant amount of the philosophy and culture of F3 finds its roots in the military itself. As we all know, far too often, the men and women of our military give the…
Juicebox originally had YHC scheduled for last week’s RNG, but Mutton decided to “snatch” the RNG duties away and lead last week’s Q…which ended working out perfectly for YHC’s schedule (it’s all about me anyway). So, with a fresh new week, and some fresh new cool temps, YHC decided to centralize the location in hopes…
7 Pax (not 6) posted for an 8 mile “mosey” around Sherwood Forest this morning. With the temps dropping nicely, it would have seemed like a waste to not put in some distance, so the SpeedTrap format was adjusted for today. No need to bore you with the route, but it was about 8…
5 posted in the gloom to fartlek around Buena Vista and the West Highlands this morning. YHC had enjoyed last week’s format so much that it was decided to repeat (read copy) the work out. All that was needed was a new route, which can be found here: http://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/1726062818 It went down something like this:…
