Bells and Whistles may never be the same again! PAX gathered upon a chilly morning in the GBF neighborhood with great expectations of a beatdown the likes of us mere mortal salesmen would never understand. Only those Glengarry Glen Ross fans could imagine the beatdown that “CLOSER” would bring on a day like today….
Respects and Respect-Squareds overrepresented at your friendly neighborhood no-run boot camp, The Rock Quarry. WARMARAMA: SSH, Abe Vigodas, Whirlies, IST, Merkins. Plank to Down Dog. A few weeks ago, YHC saw an opening to Q at one of my favorite AO’s on my birthday, and what better way to kick off the celebration than bring a hopefully solid beatdown to the PAX assembled. Today marks my 36th birthday, so 36 would be our theme. 0529 – All PAX are assembled…
Warm up: The usual Mosey to Blocks, grab one and back to the front parking lot. The Thang: Move around the parking lot w 4 stations moving the block forward 1 station each round (move it to station 1 for round 1, station 2 for round 2 and so on). When the block is moved…
UA, my favorite AO. I will never complain about getting to workout as the city is waking up around me. Warm-O-Rama 20 SSH, 15 Imperial Walker, 10 Whirly, 15 Hill Billy, 10 Abe Vigoda, and some stretchy stretch. The Thang Mosey around park then head to the train track. 5 Pull Ups, Burpees, WWII, repeto…
Supermaxx was a blast as the Murph was in full affect. Suede is making quantum leap improvements and Gretel is much like the Q, stubbornly determined to improve. Ziffel approached surprisingly on time, but from the perspective of a possum, as he emerged from the dumpster. Hansel has served notice to the alphas, Van Gogh,…
Warm-O-Rama: SSHs, Abe Vigoda, Whirly with a clap, Plank with some leg stretches, some like to bounce in this position, Down and Upward Dog. The Thang: Informed the PAX what a MacGuffin is: Something that is necessary to plot and motivation of characters, but unimportant in itself. Also known as plot coupon. So we had…
We succesfully established a great new AO at Oak Summit Park, #WeNoCo, #TheLaunchpad, and it’s got everything a growing F3Nation needs: a covered shelter with sturdy metal picnic tables, a quarter mile track with a field in the center, a baseball field, a steep hill, tennis courts (Site Q Burns’ Rule: BEAR CRAWL ACROSS THE…
On Saturday, May 28th, 35 Pax gathered for YHCs last Q in this region. What we did really does not matter. What you all have done for me over the past six years is something that I cannot adequately express in words. Thank you to each and every Pax. Keep posting in the gloom and…
Another busy week meant little time to plan. Made 2 workouts one on either side of cardboard, ‘May the 4th be with Crash’ and ‘Cinco de Crasho.’ PAX assembled under the dim lights of Distillery. Got a note the evening before that we may have an FNG. Will be honest, this was one of those…
Warmarama: SSH, 5 burpees for Cherry Pie arm swirly, Arm swirlies, Michael Phelps, Abe Vagodas, Whirly with a clap, Stretching of hamstrings and quads, calves, low back. Supermans. Mosey around the parking lot. Beat Down: Parking Space Merkins: starting with one rep in each of 4 corners performing regular merkin, Diamond merkin, wide merkin and…
Warm-O-Rama: 30 SSHs since it was March 30, Abe Vigoda, Whirly with a clap, Arm swirlie things both ways, Michael Phelps. At Mayhem you say relax instead of recover, which made High Cotton very proud it’s catching on. The Thang: Before we even started, most of the PAX threaten that they had to leave early….
