One or more of these things may have happened at Urban Assault this morning: Copious amounts of snow to navigate in and around Sledding down Pilot View & Forsyth Cross-country skiing around Bailey Park A security guard starring ominously at a group of men ranging from the ages of 29 and 43 An ill-advised EC-run…
PAX: Post Hole, Cheesesteak, Lamb Chop (WB), Drip, Red Baron, Root Canal (WD,Q) As I exited my trusty steed with 45 seconds to spare, I calculated that this was a grizzled, veteran, high achieving PAX ready to mix it up and give it a big push. The question was whether I could rise to the…
We met at the fountain where hard work is put in. Today was no different! The Q was 30 seconds late due to some crazy downtown street lights (never taking that route again) but the Pax picked up the slack and started SSH. The Q jumped in like a sweet set of double dutch…
YHC got the Substi-Q by default from Burns as a result of no other PAX volunteering to Q. Happy to post to UA, for what is hands down the nicest view in the city at night/morning. YHC put the EH on about 10 guys pretty late on Thursday… and thankfully, 1 showed up! Warm-o-rama …
One of the reasons that I enjoy working out with Cheesesteak is because of his creativity. While the rest of the PAX (myself included) are good little lemmings and generally follow the Q’s directions, Cheesesteak does whatever the hell he wants, whenever the hell he wants. I can maybe count on one hand the number…

St. and YHC’s beloved Appalachian (APP – uh – LATCH – in) State Mountaineers. Luckily for the assembled PAX, the mighty Mountaineers…
Absolutely beautiful weather at Bailey Park this morning. A light breeze and the upper 50s. Add to that seven UA regulars all with smiles, pleasant dispositions and a will to take on any challenge and you have the recipe for an amazing beatdown. WARM-O-RAMA SSH x 20 IC TOY SOLDIERS x 20 IC MICHAEL PHELPS…
It was a great morning to pay tribute to 9/11. Warm up SSH X 20 Abe Vigota x 6 Imperial Stormtroopers x 20 Whirly w/ clap x 10 Arm Circle things forward and backward x 10 Seal Clap x10 Mosey over to the hill next to Bailey park Partner Work- one partner ran up and…
YHC decided on a pretty simple beatdown in the caverns of Bailey Park. The problem is now thinking back on my plan YHC did forget to add some extra burpees, but that was because of the stupid music speaker. For some reason Spotify would not work unless YHC stood by my phone. YHC even took…
