A great morning weatherwise for a beatdown at Purgatory. Mission statement and a round robin of the Core Principles were stated and we were off. Warmarama consisted of IST’s, Abe Vigoda, Arm stugg, Whirlies, SSH and Plank Jacks Mosey to baseball backstop but first a stop at one of the islands for 1, yes 1,…
In prepping for to Q, YHC looks back at previous workouts to see what has been done before. Well, the first workout I led at the Pug, was November of 2014, so thought would be “fun” to see if our pax were more fit from 10 years ago than today. (Have no idea who was…
What a beautiful morning at Speas! An Elite Eight of regulars gathered to get stronger together. Started with the usual Warmarama: SSH, Imp Walkers, Abe V, Whirlies avec Clap, arm waggling, squats and one more sloooow squat. Then to brick planter in front of school for first ladder. (Since it’s the 13th of the month,…
Despite GPS and a general idea of where I was going, YHC still managed to hit the Purgatory parking lot on 2 wheels about a minute late. Fortunately, the Pax was patient as 6 early risers were there to great me. Our numbers grew during warm-a-rama as Linus arrived, then Toot and finally Spicolli. Toot…
All week, the weather forecast for Saturday was not lookin’ good. Unfortuately, YHC HCd to Q when @Undertow asked, not having looked at the weather forecast. Oh well. That’s why we here in F3 have core principles. And the third core principle would test YHC and all others who posted. YHC was also coming off…
It only took the mention of the RE-opening of the Peacehaven Chick-fil-A in the preblast to set the tone for the beatdown and bring out many of the regulars to Purgatory. CFA had long been the go to for coffeeteria after Purgatory and well, the last 6 months and the alternate option for coffeeteria never…
An extra day to workout with our friends this year! YHC left late to join the Run Club before TRQ and encountered Bam on his way back to Speas so turned around and he was kind enough to slow to a mosey the rest of the way. He got in the 2 miles and I…
It was a beautiful morning at Speas for this week’s Purgatory. HIM’s rolled in one after another. We warmed up with the usual routine: SSH, Imp Walkers, C Squats, slow deep squat, arm circles, Y-flies, and Mike Phelps. Then to the top of the hill leading down to the Rec Center for Double Dog Dare…
YHC was tearing down the bathroom and closet in his bedroom this weekend, so, came up with a weakly connected workout around that concept! The brisk temps did not keep the pax away, in fact (if you factor in the wind chill factor), the famed #Gilooly was achieved – more pax than degrees. And with…
Undertow needed a Q this weekend, and YHC was available — we don’t know how many “nos” he received before he asked me. YHC was about to come up with some original twists on some old routines when I found an interesting workout from Feb 2023. So I recycled it: Warmorama SSH 20, Merkins 10,…
