As you may or may not have seen on the interwebs, there apparently is a March Madness bracket hosted by “F3 Near Me” on Twitter, where they are seeking the “Best AO Name” in all of F3 Nation. Apparently, the second oldest mid-week workout in F3 Winston-Salem, aka “Village Idiocy” made it to the Sweet…
9 gathered in the spring gloom to see what ol’ Burnsy had in store. Cruiser rolled up with his 2.0 who was bleary-eyed yet excited to see what his dad does every morning. Site Q was present, along with many regulars. Great to be back on the western side of the city. Let’s do this….
From 1979 to 1997, the Hartford Whalers sported the arguably best logo of all time in the NHL. Sadly (to some and to the great elation of others), the Whale moved to NC and became YHCs beloved Carolina Hurricanes. The logo and identity lay dormant for years, and ownership was afraid to touch it….
Forgoing YHC’s usual Wednesday haunts at the request of the site Q, the car headed what most folks would consider towards downtown. However, the Q learned that many pax have a much narrower/literal understanding of downtown than evidently YHC does. That’s not surprising, YHC freely admits his views in many things have become more generous,…
Holy slack, I have been slack about finally getting around to posting the BackBlast. @Madoff, #Cobains. But, better late than never, right? Twas the morning before St. Patty’s Day, and all through the #Distillery. 8 merry lads ( PAX ) were stirring, eager for the #DRP…..or is it supposed to be green for any St….
With a tragically heavy heart, YHC planned this workout to honor the one son who staunchly resisted the EH to join us out at F3 for 9+ years. Even though YHC’s 2.2, Will, never posted to an F3 workout, he was there with 55 of us this morning at The Iron Throne. Warm-O-Rama SSH x27…
Dear reader, please afford your humble correspondent some artistic liberty and creative license here. Although the Meadowlark area does not yet hold the prestige of the great city of Rome, let us remember that Rome wasn’t built in a day – but it damn sure took less time than the Meadowlark Drive road upgrade project…
Since there were only 3 at IS on Saturday, I will keep this brief. Lambchop and YHC warmed up and proceeded to the Intimidator. 1 trip to the top, followed by 20 Burpees. Back to the bottom for 20 WWIIs Booboo shows up and we run to Jersey, 20 Burpees and back down for 20…
Driving home from the mountains yesterday, the plan for Monday’s tIT workout came to YHC in a phrase: simple, like lines and circles. So it looked like this: Warm-O-Rama with the old favorites. On to the lines and circles: Line: Dora on the basketball courts (you know, running a line from one end to the…
Four roamers found their way to the last frontier and joined YHC at the Launchpad. Warmarama: SSHs, Down/Upward Dogs The Thang Mosey across the bridge to tennis courts. First up were 11(!)s: Baseline #1: Merkin x 1 Baseline #2: Squats x 10 Run back and forth and add one merkin / subtract one squat each…
Burns and Crash organized a site q switcheroo some time ago. This day was the day. Thinking we’d be celebrating a successful rocket launch from the night / early morning before but the launch did not happen. The launchpad is a really nice AO, and if I wasn’t site Q for iron throne YHC would…
This workout was started in the usual fashion with cherry pie showing up just after we finished arm swirly things, lucky for him. As he drove in we were doing ASTs, I could nto see it clearly but I was concerned he would keep right on driving back out of the parking lot. Tabata timer,…
