Having been the Site Q at #Parliament (located way over in Clemmons every Tuesday morning) for a good while, YHC hasn’t had the privilege of experiencing the ambience of #Flatline very often. In fact, I’ve only posted at #Flatline when I’ve Q’d there (which I believe is twice, counting this one). Consequently, because I don’t…
YHC picked up the Substi-Q at Charlie Foxtrot for Blue Light Special, and I think it turned out alright. Seven PAX posted at the Novant overflow parking lot. Since it was covered in cigarette butts, we moseyed over to the lower parking lot of Morgan Elementary, were we conducted a little WARMARAMA. WARMARAMA: A medley…
YHC had the honor of Q’ing this morning’s beatdown at The Rock Quarry, an AO that always attracts the finest and classiest people. By way of example, in attendance today was a superabundance of Wake Forest Demon Deacons, including alumni both young and young(er), distinguished faculty, and a former standout Demon Deacon gridiron player in…
16 PAX posted this morning at #WIB to work out our bodies and pay respects to members of the Greatest Generation who sacrificed and achieved so much 75 years ago on June 6, 1944. This is the second consecutive year that YHC has Q’d on June 6. I have always been passionate about World War…
YHC was laid low for 6 days by a chest cold that first came on while I was Q’ing last Thursday at The Distillery. I wasn’t sure I had it in me to successfully Q this morning, but I made the effort anyway. Goofy was bringing an FNG, and I didn’t want to let either…
It being my fourth Q since Friday, YHC had planned a reboot of a workout I had done a long time ago at Bells & Whistles, with a few adjustments being made to account for the availability of cinder blocks at The Distillery. Alas, it was all for naught , for when I opened my…
It had been well over a year since YHC Q’d a workout at Mayhem (since February 7, 2018 to be exact), so I felt comfortable that the Statute of Limitations had run on dusting off a previous workout and trotting it out again. (I mean, who would really know, remember or care, right?) Well, 6…
8 PAX showed up for a retread Sandbag workout led by yours truly (similar to one I Q’d at Outhouse approx. 2 years ago). WARMARAMA: A typical medley of SSHs, ISTs, Seal Claps, Overhead Claps, Whirly’s with a social disease, Abe Vigodas, and some standing hamstring stretches. THE THANG: At the conclusion of Warmarama, the PAX…
YHC planned a little variation of The Charles Bronson for Urban Assault, to be enjoyed on the grassy meadow of Bailey Park. YHC arrived at 0520 to see at least 8 sprinkler heads going full bore, ruling out that venue as an option. I noticed a fenced in parking lock close by that looked like…
14 PAX braved what was feared to be (but wasn’t) a rainy morning at Purgatory. One of the PAX in attendance was our brother from another mothership, my good friend Largemouth (from the Washington, NC F3 PAX). YHC arrived early to set up what hopefully would be a fun and punishing outing (if those two…
