Iron Throne 6-24

YHC is late to the backblast so some details will be missing…

YHC & Frostbite for 2.5ish EC miles

Green Acres RIRO

WoR – SSH, Hillbilly, Abe Vigoda, Whirlies, OH Claps, Michael Phelps

Mosey to the middle of the field to find a cone. Cones also at all 4 corners. Each round start with 6 burpees at the middle cone, run to a corner, do 24 of the called exercise, run back to the middle, rinse and repeat for all four corners, then pick up the six.

Round 1 – Upper body. Home plate: merkins. Left field: Alt shoulder touches. Center field: Wide merkins. Right field: Plank punches

Round 2 – Lower body. Home plate: squats. Left field: lunges. Center field: calf raises. Right field: curtsey squats

Round 3 – Core. Home plate: American Hammers. Left field: WWIIs. Centerfield: Heels to Heaven. Right field: Muttons each side.

Back up to the launch spot for ~6MOM. I can’t remember all the exercises called. Lots of gasping for breath and lightheadedness. Epic sweat angels.

During round 2 the WSFCS maintenance team showed up and began mowing the field, taking out one of my cones in the process. This also meant we had freshly mown grass to do our ab exercises on, and we were inhaling tractor fumes for appx. 25 minutes.

Tclaps to $5 and Green Acres for helping a lost soul find his way post-beatdown

Prayers for aging family members.

Thanks for the keys, Ducky. You were missed!

  • A Beastly Beatdown

Lesson of the day: Long car rides make for lots of time spent developing bad ideas.   YHC loves cinder blocks, and bear crawls… and then the kids have been watching lots of “Beast Games” so the term “Beast” was stuck in my head…Beast implying a TOUGH (all caps) beatdown. And then the thought of…

  1. Great beatdown! Well planned and executed. 👏. I guess I still RIRO… Ran In, Rode Out with $5 and got Dom home. 👍🏻😁

  2. Good beatdown. The grass + tractor fumes left some gnarly bumps on my arms… worth it. #gyitg
