This Saturday, two classic college football teams will meet for only the second time in their storied histories. The Georgia Bulldogs will invade South Bend to take on Notre Dame. To get the pax prepared, YHC wanted to give a little history lesson from the last time they met, Jan 1, 1981. UGA won 17-10….
Introduction When the Mayhem Site Q calls, YHC answers. Asked a few months ago to step up to lead a Mayhem beatdown, YHC gleefully agreed. At that time, the Blue Ridge Relay was an event that YHC would unfortunately have to miss due to another conflict on the calendar, so Q’ing just before it wouldn’t…
On August 21st the world witnessed a complete solar eclipse. On September 6th the world witnessed a Cobra, Zima, Cherry Pie morning. Yes, the planets aligned for a second time with all three Q’ing at separate respective AOs. Frankly, yhc is a bit put-off at the thought of being lumped in with those two workout FREAKS. In…
OK, I am gonna list the exercises here, but I am stuck on a discovery about @Wobegon. For BRR week, I decided that we would try not to run much but still get in a whipping at #Flatline, so I came up with a constant motion/transportation plan. The Pax lined up single file facing the…
YHC would like to point out Chomper said route creation did not require route completion. However, in the spirit of “if you Q you do it?” YHC will be launching on Thursday afternoon to be done by 0615. Maybe launch at 0500 on 9/8. Thanks fellas. http://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/edit/1764750695/ Head west on N Sunset Dr toward Glade…
Despite being the newly minted Site-Q for Parliament YHC has found himself out of town more often than not on Tuesdays over the past several weeks and has otherwise been relatively asleep at the wheel. #Goofy sent a shout out last night, inquiring as to a Pre-Blast. Alas, YHC left his Parliament Q spreadsheet at…
It’s that time of year again, when Foothills Brewery releases YHC’s favorite beer: Bourbon Barrel Aged Sexual Chocolate! Release day is the morning of 09/09/2017, and YHC will be your QIC at #ImpossibleSituation this coming Saturday, where our theme will be all things Sexual Chocolate! The beatdown promises your standard Saturday morning 60 minutes of…
YHC was short on bootcamp ideas for this one. Fortunately, @Starfish offered up the idea of a Steely Dan play list, which was great, but still no exercises. After Googling bootcamp ideas, YHC found this thing called a “6×6” workout. Seemed like a good idea – 6 reps of anything doesn’t seem too bad. And…
Warm-o-rama – the usual fare The Thang Mosey to field where YHC had staged 3 bricks as markers, at about 15, 30 and 45 yards (total guess) See playlist below for musical selections of that accompanied the beatdown. Rule of 3 Lunges to first brick, then do 15 regular merkins, lunge to 2nd brick, do…
