The reached out a while back asking for a Q, so was happy and honored to oblige. Twas a cool morning and a fine range of pax gathered, In anticipation of a less than challenging beatdown, some wisely got some bonus running in beforehand. Maybe with school stuff wrapping up for many of our 2.0’s…
It was a lovely day to descend on the streets of downtown to keep the loyal pax moving for 45 minutes. Usually YHC just recycles a tried and true beatdown for everyone’s enjoyment. But was feeling a bit saucy today and actually created a new one! As a proud graduate of our public school and…
In prepping for to Q, YHC looks back at previous workouts to see what has been done before. Well, the first workout I led at the Pug, was November of 2014, so thought would be “fun” to see if our pax were more fit from 10 years ago than today. (Have no idea who was…
A few pax got some running in to help warm up for the premier Thursday non-running workout. It was a festive crowd, excited to see what would unfold before them. Muscle confusion and musical taste confusion reigned to keep pax guessing and working hard. Warmorama SSH IW Copperhead Squat Copperhead Merkin Whirley and claps Cherry…
The forecast called for a very un-January like weather day. Well, I don’t think any of us know what the weather is supposed to be like in January anymore, but that’s another discussion. YHC was tearing down the bathroom and closet in his bedroom this weekend, so, came up with a weakly connected workout around that concept! The brisk temps did not keep the pax away, in fact (if you factor in the wind chill factor), the famed #Gilooly was achieved – more pax than degrees. And with…
‘Twas a lovely morn in the Park of Hanes. A small nip in the air to help the pax feel awake and thankful they pushed back against the coziness of their #fartsacks to take their #DRP Always a challenge in deciding which parts of the expansive AO to use, but YHC came up with a…
YHC reached out to the Site Q yesterday after having #fartsacked to ask if he still needed a Q today. He said he did, so my #accountability plan was in place! Cooler temps, darker mornings, and warmer beds can make it more tempting to rollover instead of taking the #redpill. If you share this same…
As YHC spent time pondering the plan of action for today’s Q at the premier kettlebell workout, the song Jessica by The Allman Brothers popped in my head. An iconic song suitable for all sorts of occasions – road trips, movie soundtracks, multitasking, annoying your kids, and holidays. So, having the anchor song to the…
A lovely morning to make a jaunt downtown for the festive beatdown known as Flatline. Always a challenge to make sure pax keep in constant motion for 45 minutes and that they would deem those 45 minutes “sufficient.” YHC showed up at 0525 excited to get the day started and to lay out the info…
